Point the BIMI record at an https logo URL

email.bimi.invalid · effort: minutes

Why it matters

The BIMI record has no https logo address, so mail apps ignore it and show no brand logo. The logo must be an SVG file served over https.

The fix

  1. Set l= to an https URL of your logo in the SVG Tiny PS format. Most mail apps also require DMARC at quarantine or reject, and some a verified mark certificate in the a= tag.
  2. If you do not use BIMI, delete the record.
dns
; Replace the logo URL with your own https address
default._bimi.example.com. IN TXT "v=BIMI1; l=https://YOUR-LOGO-HOST.example/logo.svg;"

The examples use example.com. Replace it with your own domain.
