Collect real-user speed data for your site on WordPress
Why it matters
Google has no real-user data for this page or site, usually because too few Chrome visitors have loaded it, so the numbers come from one simulated test. That test is pessimistic and noisy, so use it as a guide and add your own measurements.
The fix
- Connect Google's Site Kit plugin to Search Console and PageSpeed Insights to see real-user speed data in the dashboard once Google has it. It does not create data, so a site with few visits will still see no field data for a while.
- To collect your own values, add the web-vitals snippet from the generic tab with a code-snippets plugin or in your theme, and send the results to your analytics tool.
