Serve security.txt from /.well-known/ on Cloudflare
Why it matters
RFC 9116 puts the file at /.well-known/security.txt and keeps /security.txt only for older setups. Researchers and tools look in the standard place first.
The fix
- If you use Cloudflare's managed file, open Security, Settings, filter by Web application exploits, Security.txt, Configurations. Cloudflare serves it at /.well-known/security.txt.
- Otherwise serve it from your origin, using the tab that matches your server.
