Fix the broken structured data on the homepage
Why it matters
A JSON-LD block on the homepage cannot be parsed, so search engines ignore it. A small syntax mistake such as a trailing comma is the usual cause.
The fix
- Copy the JSON-LD block into a JSON validator or the Schema Markup Validator (validator.schema.org) to see the error and its position.
- Common mistakes are a trailing comma, a missing quote or bracket, curly quotes pasted from a word processor, and a closing script tag inside a text value.
- Fix it at the source (template, CMS field or plugin setting), then test the live page again.
